WORK WITH MEANING
Your work is your legacy. Like ours, we take it seriously. We know your product is more than a product. That’s why we don’t cut corners. Our fruit is nurtured, monitored, and cared for season after season so you can make legacy-worthy wines and oil.

Our Story
We exist to create world class organic wines & olive oils. Our raw fruits come from a unique and tenderly farmed swath of land in Yolo County, California. We invite wine and oil-makers to visit and partake.
Our story now includes new ground as well — with the addition of Coyote Vineyard, we offer conventionally grown grapes alongside our certified organic fruit, expanding our ability to serve makers with a wider selection of premium varietals.
Your story is our story.
“We work with many small to medium sized wineries. They’ve invested, many times, their life savings, and definitely their heart and soul into creating a wine they want their customers to love so that their customers will not just buy the wine but enjoy it. Just as much as what we produce here is a personal reflection on me, their wine is a personal reflection on them.”

THE BOUNTY OF A DIFFERENT PATH
Organic farming. Truly.
We believe the land rewards those who care for her. We strive to grow the most exquisite, nourishing fruits possible for superior taste and a wholesome effect on the body when all is said and done. Our methods are slow, holistic, and patient. On the Windmill Vineyard, we gather overgrowth manually, manage pests with organic solutions, and eschew harsh chemicals. The results are delicious.
While our roots are deeply organic at Windmill Vineyard, we also steward conventionally grown fruit at Coyote Vineyard, allowing us to serve a wider range of makers while staying true to our careful, land-first approach.
Our History
STEWARDS OF THE LAND
When owner and proprietor Jeff Morgan first visited the farm it was home to only a handful of varietals. Still, he felt transported to another world, an experience shared by all who visit. The carefully plotted oasis is watched and tended by Sergio Villanueva, whose stewardship has seen the farm mature and flourish. With a respect for land and legacy, they collaborate with the acreage to produce world class fruit for discerning makers of wine and oil. This collaborative spirit extends to the relationship between farm and maker. We take pride in the success of our collaborators, and we work tirelessly to grow them the best fruit on earth.
Today, Vineyard & Culinary Business Manager Irie Gengler leads this work as the primary contact for collaborators, ensuring every partnership reflects our commitment to excellence.
TAKING CARE
We tend to the relationships with our makers with the same care and attention we reserve for our land. We hold these connections sacred.
You have family at the farm.
We believe in relationships. Next to farming world-class organic fruit, working with exceptional makers is our everyday. You have a vision. We’ll bring our passion and expertise to the table.
The estate’s oldest olive tree, a 100-year old Olea europaea, lords over the vineyard.
